Danielle Favreau
CPA, CA, Chief Executive Officer
Danielle Favreau was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Karnalyte Resources Inc. on December 31, 2015 and previously was Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Karnalyte, Danielle served as an Audit Manager and HR Manager at Virtus Group LLP. She has also served as Controller at Great Western Minerals Group and served many mining clients with Deloitte in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Danielle has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a CPA, CA designation from CPA Saskatchewan. Danielle served as a director of the Mendel Art Gallery and the Remai Modern in Saskatoon, serving on the audit and finance committees for both of these organizations. She is currently serving as a director on the board of the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
Christie Gradin
CPA, CA, Chief Financial Officer
Christie Gradin was appointed interim Chief Financial Officer of Karnalyte Resources Inc. in July of 2020. Ms. Gradin brings extensive expertise, business acumen and senior financial management experience to Karnalyte having held numerous senior financial and management positions in both private and publicly traded Companies. Most recently she served as the Director of Finance and Administration at SED Systems, a division of Calian Inc. She also has experience in the insurance and financial services industries. Ms. Gradin is currently the CEO of Christie Gradin, CPA P.C. Inc., providing CFO services to multiple organizations and industries. At the University of Saskatchewan, Ms. Gradin obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree, with Great Distinction, and a Masters of Professional Accounting and is a CPA, CA.

sanjeev v. Varma
Chairman of the Board
Sanjeev V. Varma is the Executive Director (Agri-Business) at Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. (GSFC), a large joint-sector company with more than US$1 billion turnover, and Karnalyte’s strategic partner. Prior to his role as Executive Director, Mr. Varma served in various roles during his 34 year tenure at GSFC. He served in the Finance Department for more than 10 years heading the Project Financing, Budgeting, Financial Control and Corporate Debt Restructuring sections. He also led the Project Development Department for 5 years. He has led various core functions of GSFC including engineering services, finance, marketing, project and business development. He is a seasoned techno commercial senior executive of GSFC’s Petrochemical and Fertilizer complex. In addition, he has served on the Boards of many Indian companies and two foreign joint ventures for several years. Mr. Varma obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, India in 1990 and joined GSFC as a Trainee Engineer. While serving at GSFC, he obtained his Master of Business Administration (Finance) in 2002 from MS University Baroda securing Gold Medals for his academic achievement.
D.C. Anjaria

D.C. Anjaria is a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India. He has extensive international banking experience in India, Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Since returning to India, his focus has been on the financial markets industry where he works closely with investment banks, brokerage houses and mutual funds. As a financial markets professional, he has significant experience as a government policy advisor including advisor to the Securities and Exchange Board of India and the Securities Markets Regulator (BAPEPAM) in Indonesia. Mr. Anjaria has a wide-range of experience serving as an independent director with many companies in India and currently serves as an independent director of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. (GSFC), Gujarat Venture Capital Fund Management and Ratnamani Metal and Tubes Ltd. Mr. Anjaria is currently serving as the Chair of the Audit Committee.
jennifer haskey
Director
Jennifer Haskey brings over 20 years of domestic and international experience in the energy sector, spanning both technical and commercial roles. She has served in advisory capacities with Deloitte LLP and BMO Capital Markets, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, value creation, and financial advisory. Her investment and business development expertise includes portfolio management roles at Passport Capital LLC and St Peter Port Capital, as well as corporate development at Repsol Oil & Gas Canada (formerly Talisman Energy Inc.). Earlier in her career, Ms. Haskey worked as a Reservoir Evaluations Engineer at McDaniel & Associates Consultants, primarily evaluating assets in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Ms. Haskey holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and currently serves on the Board of Kelt Exploration Ltd. (TSX:KEL).

Larry Long is retired following a distinguished career in the mining industry, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations, Potash, at Nutrien—the world’s largest provider of crop inputs and services. With over 35 years of industry experience, Mr. Long began his career in 1988 as a field geologist with Noranda in Bathurst, New Brunswick. Mr. Long held several key leadership roles, including Chief Geologist and Production Coordinator for Breakwater Resources in Nunavut and Superintendent of Open Pit Operations at BHP Billiton’s Ekati Diamond Mine in the Northwest Territories. He later joined Nutrien (formerly PotashCorp), where he served as General Manager of both the Rocanville and Allan potash mines in Saskatchewan before rising to his senior executive position. In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Long currently serves on the board of the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation and on the campaign cabinet for Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Time to Rise campaign. He previously served as a board member and Chair of the Board for the Saskatchewan Mining Association. Mr. Long is currently serving as the Chair of the Compensation, Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.
Dilip V. Pathakjee

Dilip V Pathakjee is the Senior Vice President of Materials Management at Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. (GSFC), a large joint sector company with more than US $1 billion turnover, and Karnalyte’s strategic partner. Mr. Pathakjee has over 30 years of experience in operations, research and development, finance, marketing, materials management, and management of foreign projects. Including his current role, during the past 5 years Mr. Pathakjee has held other senior roles at GSFC including Vice President (Finance) and Senior Vice President (Finance). Mr. Pathakjee holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering, a Masters in Business Administration, a Post Graduate Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management and a Diploma in Industrial Psychology.
